Yves Bissouma (Tottenham), a teammate of South Korean soccer star Son Heung-min, was attacked by robbers and had
his expensive watch stolen.
According to the BBC, Bissuma was returning home to a hotel in Cannes, France, his vacation destination, at around 4:00
AM on the 2nd when he encountered two unidentified men and was robbed of a watch worth 300,000 euros (about 450
million won).
The robbers used tear gas to attack Bisuma and his wife, Bisuma's representative said.
Bissouma was hastily returned to Britain as French police launched an investigation.
According to local newspaper The Sun, the stolen watch was said to be a luxury Swiss watch brand, Richard Mille.
